SCHOLARSHIPS
The National Demolition Association is proud to have five scholarships available to its regular members:

The Bill and Wanda Baker Scholarship - This is a $5000 scholarship to be awarded to the child of an owner or employee of a Regular Member of the National Demolition Association. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant must be a high school senior graduating in the year of the application and starting college that same year; Applicant must be applying as a freshmen to a two or four year academically accredited college, university or vocational school; and Applicant must be applying as a full-time student. Only Applicants who are graduating from high school are eligible for the Bill and Wanda Baker Scholarship.

The National Demolition Association Scholarship - This is a $5000 scholarship to be awarded to the child of an owner or employee of a Regular Member of the National Demolition Association. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant must be a high school senior graduating in the year of the application and starting college that same year; Applicant must be applying as a freshmen to a two or four year academically accredited college, university or vocational school; Applicant must be applying as a full-time student. Only Applicants who are graduating from high school are eligible for the National Demolition Association Scholarship.

The Patrick H. O’Rourke Scholarship - This is a $3000 scholarship to be awarded to an owner, employee, or an immediate family member of a Regular Member company of the National Demolition Association. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant shall be continuing their education at an academically accredited college, university, or vocational school; Applicant does not necessarily have to be attending the college or other educational institution for the first time.

The Sims Hugo Neu Scholarship -This is a $3000 scholarship to be awarded to an owner, employee, or an immediate family member of a Regular Member company of the National Demolition Association. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant shall be continuing their education at an academically accredited college, university, or vocational school; Applicant does not necessarily have to be attending the college or other educational institution for the first time.


The Southern California Chapter Scholarship - This is a $3000 scholarship to be awarded to an owner, employee, or an immediate family member of a Regular Member company of the National Demolition Association. Eligibility requirements include: Applicant shall be continuing their education at an academically accredited college, university, or vocational school; Applicant does not necessarily have to be attending the college or other educational institution for the first time.



Contact us at National Demolition Association for copies of scholarship applications and a full list of eligibility requirements and instructions. All scholarship applications must be received by January 15, 2007. The scholarship winner will be announced at the National Demolition Association’s 2007 Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner need not be present at the Convention to receive their award.
