SAFETY ITEMS AVAILABLE
The National Demolition Association is the repository of safe work practice information for the Demolition Industry around the world. Many of the safety materials that the National Demolition Association has developed are utilized by demolition entities across the globe. Elements of the National Demolition Association’s Demolition Safety Program have been translated in numerous foreign languages and are used everyday to protect workers involved with demolition operations everywhere.

The National Demolition Association's Demolition Safety Program
consists of:


The Demolition Safety Manual, the bible of safe work practice for the Demolition Industry. The Demolition Safety Manual is correlated to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration’s Construction and General Industry Standards (29 CFR 1926 & 1910).

The Hazard Communication Program, designed to provide demolition contractors with the latest information on Right-to-Know requirements as well as sample Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS’s) for materials found on a typical demolition job site.

The National Demolition Association's Demolition Safety Talks Program, designed to provide toolbox safety talks that can be used on industry worksites to alert workers to particular hazards they may face and to assist with occupational health & safety compliance.

The National Demolition Association's Lead-in-Construction Training Program, designed to assist demolition contractors with compliance requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor’s lead-in-construction regulations. This program includes a safety training DVD/Video, available in both English and Spanish; a supervisor's training manual; worker training manuals in both English and Spanish; and safety reenforcers to alert workers to the dangers of overexposure to lead.

A variety of safe work practice training DVD/Videos including:
  • Starting Out Right, the National Demolition Association's new employee orientation DVD/Video
  • Lead-in-Construction safety training DVD/Video to assist companies with compliance with lead abatement safety training requirements
  • Skid Steer Safety training DVD/Video that will present the latest information on safe work practices when operating or working around a skid steer
All of the National Demolition Association safety training DVD/Videos are available in both English and Spanish.
