Take the Volvo Tour at the Fall NDA Board Meeting

NDA members attending the board meeting in September are invited to an exclusive, first-class visit to the Volvo headquarters in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. If you have not yet seen Volvo's new innovative facility, sign up now for September's board meeting to be a part of this amazing experience!
In March of 2011, Volvo CE invested in a $100 million USD expansion in Shippensburg, PA.  Today, the site employs over 1000 employees representing nearly 20 nationalities working in operations, technology, sales and marketing, and customer support.

The facility currently manufactures soil and asphalt compactors, motor graders, pavers and screeds, wheel loaders and milling machines and operations include welding, large machining, paint, and assembly.  And will soon add excavators as well.

“This is really about Volvo's ongoing commitment to North American market,” said Pat Olney, president, Volvo Construction Equipment in remarks made during the inauguration of Volvo's $100 million plant expansion in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
ON THE TOUR, NDA members will be taken on a detailed trip through this state-of-the-art ISO and LEED certified manufacturing facility.  Members will have the chance to see everything from Volvo's materials delivery, fabrication, paint shop, and the final test area. Members will also have the opportunity to ride and drive Volvo equipment including excavators and high reach machines at Volvo's new demo site.

You don't want to miss out on this unbelievable opportunity!
