 Committee Goals:

1. Monitor and report on American and Canadian recycling, salvage, scrap and deconstruction trends.
2. Monitor regulations and laws governing the movement and recycling of our demolition debris waste stream.
3. Research new or potential markets for the recycled products from demolition debris.
4. Promote the NDA as a "Green" association that is proactive in recycling and reducing the volume of debris being landfilled.
5. Coordinate efforts to promote Brownfields through the NDA.
6. Expand the content of the "Environment" section on the Association's website. 
7. Presentation of Segregation & Preparation of Building Materials for Recycling at the Demolition Academy in Chicago.
8. Development of a guidance document for C&D Recycling Facilities in conjunction with the Safety Committee. 
9. Aid Bob Brickner with GBB to finish the first 15 states on the website to list C&D Recycling Facilities.
10. Have an Environmental Committee member represent the NDA at the National Brownfield Associations’ Convention in New Orleans along with our Executive Director.
